Entrance/Exit into the Brown Cancer Center (BCC)
Patients/Visitors:
All patients and visitors can now access the BCC by using the “reopened” front entrance or the north entrance adjacent to the BCC parking lot. (Reference GREEN pedestrian way on the map)
Parking
- 70 parking spaces are available for Brown Cancer Center patients. The parking lot is located on the corner of Jackson and Muhammad Ali Boulevard; entrance is on the right hand side of Jackson, directly past the Brown Cancer Center.
- Additional parking is available in the parking University Hospital garage across the street from the Brown Cancer Center.
- Limited meter parking is available around the Brown Cancer Center for you or your caregivers.
- Operating hours for all city of Louisville parking meters are Monday - Saturday, 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- Parking meter rates range from $0.50/hr. to $0.75/hr., and are limited from
- 1 hour to 4 hours of parking. Please look for signs that have this information.
- You may pay parking meters with nickels, dimes, quarters and dollar coins.
- There are some parking restrictions to be aware of, depending on the area and roadway.
- Many parking meters are two-space meters. So be sure to select the arrow on the meter pointing to your vehicle and parking space.

- Take I-65 South to Exit 136C Jefferson St./Brook St.
- Follow signs to Brook St.
- Turn right onto S. Brook St. at the end of the ramp.
- Turn right onto Market St.
- Turn right onto S. Preston St.
- Turn left onto E. Chestnut St.
- Turn left onto S. Jackson St.
- Turn left onto Madison St.
- Parking is on right.
- Brown Cancer Center and the Brown Cancer Center parking lot are on the right.

- Take I-71 West to I-65 South
- Take I-65 South to Exit 136C Jefferson St./Brook St.
- Follow signs to Brook St.
