Mobile Mammography Van

Brown Cancer Center’s Mobile Mammography VanThe Brown Cancer Center mobile mammography unit features a state-of-the-art LORAD M-IV Platinum System, which provides superior imaging and maximum patient comfort. The M-IV delivers high quality breast images by incorporating the innovative High Transmission Cellular (HTC™) Grid technology, which provides dramatically improved image contrast in all tissue, even denser breasts. The compression paddle adjusts to ensure a more uniform compression across the entire breast and improves immobilization of breast tissue, resulting in reduced mobile artifacts and superior image quality. Patients benefit by reduced exposure times, improved imaging, and a more comfortable exam.
